I think the Song is trying to tell you to be yourself, to
get your dreams high and remember where you came from. Meaning it does not
matter if you are broke growing up or very well off you can do amazing things
when you put your mind to it. Also that you don’t have to get people to like
you by changing yourself, others should like you for you and not for whom you
are not but by who you really are. I think that the artist composed this song
to show that he made it big and he grew up most likely very poor or with not a
lot to look forward to. You can have a bad childhood and still do great things
in your life.
